The Constitution of Nepal guarantees every citizen the right to seek and receive information. The Right to Information Act, 2064 (2007) was enacted to implement this right. This law legally obligates all public bodies to provide requested information to citizens.
Citizens' Rights:

Request information related to any public institution.

Submit an application to access information.

File a complaint if the information is not provided.

How to Request Information:

Address the application to the Information Officer.
